Los Angeles Nanny
Highest Quality Professional
Child Care
Our children are our most prized possessions. Whenever we hire someone to care for them, we naturally want that babysitter or nanny to be as good with our children as we ourselves are.
That's where I come in. I am Violet Newell, the best nanny in Los Angeles. A mother of two grown boys, I have taken care of some of the most beautiful children in Southern California for thirteen years. Some have been children of rock stars; some have been children of powerful corporate presidents; others have been from normal, everyday homes. What they all have in common is that their childcare provider is simply the best Los Angeles nanny in the business.
There are good reasons for that:
1) I am TrustLine Registered. That means that my entire background has been researched (using Dept. of Justice and FBI records), and I have been found to be honest, for-real, and a safe nanny to hire. By the way, one in five childcare applicants is rejected by TrustLine.
2) I am CPR and First Aid Certified. God forbid that any emergency should ever occur involving our children, but don't you want your nanny or baby-sitter to be able to help save their lives if something should happen? Someone trained and medically certified - someone that could assist not only your children but also other family members that might be in need.
3) I have been trained to take care of special-needs children.
4) I am a professional nanny. Not a young college graduate looking for a babysitting job, nor a teacher looking to keep working in California's teacher-unfriendly economic climate, I care for children full-time, and have for the past thirteen years - since 1997. My references are superior - you will recognize some names on my resume.
5) I was born with a special gift for communicating with children, especially young children. Have you ever been in line at the supermarket or on an airplane with a crying toddler nearby? Although I'm not exactly sure why, I can look at an unhappy child, make eye contact, and usually in half a minute the child will stop crying and begin smiling. Parents that have observed this gift of mine have called me The Pied Piper. I love kids, and even infants somehow seem to instinctively know it. By the way, infant care is a favorite of mine.

But enough about me; let's talk about
you. What childcare needs do you have?
h Are you a couple that wants to enjoy a date-night every week or two - a night-off from your kids - and need a Los Angeles baby sitter?
h Are you a single mom or dad that needs a couple of extra hands?
h Do you need a Southern California nanny only part-time, maybe twenty hours a week, because even two parents just don't seem to have enough time for everything that needs to be done?
h Maybe you're brand new parents looking for a full-time Los Angeles nanny for the newborn (or newborns - I have experience with twins, of course). Baby care is a specialty.
h Or maybe you're in the entertainment industry and need full-time, on-the-road childcare from an energetic, creative nanny-with-a-passport!
I've worked in all these situations, and many others. If you need help with your children, and you want only the very finest child-care provider, we should talk.

E-mail me and
tell me a little about your family, your needs, and your location (I'm in the
Mt. Olympus area of the Hollywood Hills). I'll reply, and if you'd like we
can then talk on the phone.

I hope that I can personally help you; but if I can't, chances are that I can refer you to other qualified nannies. After thirteen years I have a large network of Los Angeles child care providers, nannies, au pairs, and baby sitters. However, I am not a nanny agency, although I've worked with a few agencies over the years. I myself am an independent Los Angeles nanny.
