The ESQ-1 and its rack-mountable twin, the ESQ-m, are the classic analog synthesizers. If you wish to invest your money in a synth that's non-digital, you can't do better than the ESQ-1/m. If you only own digital synths, the analog ESQ-1/m provides a marvelous aural contrast.
